The Frobishers team joined multi-site pub, restaurant and foodservice operators from the likes of Burger & Lobster, Bill’s, London Union and Just Eat last week as the first of 2016's Propel Multi Clubs took place at the Congress Centre in London.
We heard from Burger & Lobster managing director Simon King about the company’s plans to expand to 25 restaurants by the end of the year and its recent successes, including a one-week turnover of £47,000 at its Bath site.
Growth was reported in the pub sector too, with Steve Kenee, partner at investment firm Downing, revealing Antic London’s plans to grow to 50 pubs across London.
Other speakers included Adrian Blair, chief operating officer of Just Eat, Neil Griffiths, Punch Taverns’ chief strategy director, Roberto Morretti, chief operating officer of Bill’s and Henry Dimbleby and Jonathan Downey, co-founders of London Union, all of whom gave insights into some of the hottest industry topics.
We treated delegates to a refreshing pick-me-up with taste testers of our delicious and recently launched sparkling soft drinks, Classics. They're ideal for the brand-savvy operator looking to offer the customer a premium soft drink experience and with fewer than 85 calories per 330ml bottle.
The Propel Multi Club has more than 600 members across the country and hosts three conferences a year to exchange innovations, ideas and best practice.
