As we reach the midway point of Devon Restaurant Month, we celebrate the third restaurant on our list of Devonshire delights – The Manor Inn in Lower Ashton.
The team at the Manor Inn pride themselves on offering ‘something just that little bit special’ and that’s what you’ll find in this welcoming village pub on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.
Proprietors Mick and Jan took over the Manor Inn in 2008, restoring the traditional pub back to its best. With a relaxed atmosphere you can visit the Manor Inn at any time of day whether it’s for freshly prepared lunches, delicious dinners or a Devonshire cream tea in the garden, taking in the fantastic views of the local countryside.
The evening menu highlights locally caught fish and game with regularly changing specials and a particular fondness for seafood, always using what’s fresh and in season.
Along with local cask ales such as Otter, Legend, Cotleigh Jail and Teignworthy Reel Ale, plus a line-up of soft drinks including our very own juices, the Manor Inn has featured wines of the month that will perfectly compliment your meal for a more than reasonable price.
