Bumbleberry Juice: The Ultimate Summer Fruit Juice

You may be wondering, what is a Bumbleberry? Well, Bumbleberry is actually a 'made-up' word to describe a mix of berries. The term is often used in recipes, including the infamous Bumbleberry Pie, (a sweet Canadian pie originating from the Maritimes) to describe a selection of in-season berries, most commonly including blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries.

So, what is Bumbleberry Juice? Frobishers originally came up with the concept, taking the best of Britain's seasonal Summer berries - ripe strawberries, juicy raspberries, tart blackcurrants, and blackberries, and combining them into a vibrant and flavourful Summer fruit juice drink.

Bumbleberry Juice is a delicious, healthy, and refreshing drink, packed with natural vitamins and antioxidants, not to mention, that it's a wonderfully refreshing way to quench your thirst on a hot Summer's day. ROYAL BUMBLE

This delicious sparkling cocktail is perfect for any special occasion. Quick and easy to make, it is the ideal drink when catering to a larger number of guests.

INGREDIENTS

Sparkling Wine or Champagne (We recommend Lyme Bay Winery's Brut Reserve NV)

Frobishers Bumbleberry Juice

METHOD

1.

Chill the Sparkling Wine and Bumbleberry Juice prior to preparation

2.

Fill 1/3 of the champagne flutes with Bumbleberry Juice and top with Sparkling Wine

BRAMBLE COCKTAIL

A Bumbleberry twist on the classic Bramble cocktail by Dick Bradsell in the 1980s, this gin-based cocktail is perfect for all seasons.

INGREDIENTS

50ml Gin

20m Lemon Juice

15ml Sugar Syrup

50ml Frobishers Bumbleberry Juice

METHOD

1.

Add the Gin Lemon Juice and Sugar Syrup To A Shaker With Ice

2.

Shake hard then strain into a glass filled with crushed ice

3.

Pour the Bumbleberry Juice on top and gently stir

A Summer Fruit twist on the traditional Daiquiri, this cocktail is perfect for quenching your thirst on a warm day.

INGREDIENTS

Ice Cubes or Crushed Ice

150ml Frobishers Bumbleberry Juice

Juice of 1/2 a Lime

1 tbsp Lemon Juice

50ml White Rum

Slice of Lime

METHOD

1.

Crush the ice in a high-power blender (if not using crushed ice)

2.

Add the Bumbleberry Juice, lemon and lime juice and the white Rum

3.

Blend on High Power for 20 Seconds

4.

Pour into Cocktail Glasses
