The Queen's Platinum Jubilee is right around the corner. And with a four day weekend ahead of us, it's time to think about hosting the perfect event. Whether you're renowned for hosting the best events in your family, or need a little help to get things sorted - we've got plenty of ideas for you. From house parties to street parties, read on to discover our top tips to make sure your Jubilee Party is one to remember!
Lock In Your Soft Drinks Delivery
Make sure you have plenty of drinks to go around. Hopefully, the sun will be shining, so you'll need to keep your guests hydrated, and what better way to do that than with a refreshing soft drink? Besides, not everyone will be drinking alcohol and it's always a good idea to have soft drink alternatives. They also make perfect mixers!
Fruit juice is always a family favourite, so stock up on our Jubilant Juices range, there's currently 20% off the whole range (Use Code: JUBILEE20)! Or, try our brand new Sparkling Pressé cans. They're the ideal soft drink companions if you're on-the-go. If you're hosting a party with a garden, a street party, or even a party in the park, canned drinks make things so much easier for your guests.
If you're feeling extra Patriotic, you could even make our Jubilee Party Mocktail.
The Jubilee Dream
What you’ll need for this mocktail recipe:
- 25ml Grapefruit Juice
- 50ml Orange Juice
- 10ml lemon juice
- Dash sugar syrup
Method:
Shake your ingredients up with plenty of ice; after all, it looks like it's going to be a scorcher! Afterwards, strain your mixture into a glass and top with our sparkling Sicilian Lemonade.
Bring Lots of British Decorations
Decorate your party space with patriotic flair - Union Jack bunting is always a winner, blow up some red, white, and blue balloons, and don't forget the flags! You could even get some Jubilee-themed tableware to really get into the spirit of things.
Plan some Party Games
No party is complete without some fun and games! Make sure you prepare activities for guests of all ages; face painting and water balloons are perfect for the little ones, while a Jubilee-themed scavenger hunt or quiz is ideal for adults. If you’re having a garden party, how about a classic game of croquet or boules on the lawn.
Fill your table with British party food
What’s your favourite traditional British food? Make sure there are plenty of options for your guests to tuck in to. Some of our highlights include;
- Scones (jam or cream first? We’ll let you decide!)
