Mindful May With Frobishers: A Month Of Purposeful Living
As May draws to a close, we're reflecting on our Mindful May campaign—a month dedicated to embracing mindfulness in our daily lives. From thoughtful collaborations to team initiatives, here's how we celebrated mindfulness throughout May.
🌱 Embracing Mindfulness
Mindful May was all about encouraging conscious choices—whether it's caring for our mental and physical health, being environmentally aware, or simply taking a moment to pause and reflect.
Collaborating Mindfully 🪴
- At the roots of the mindfulness campaign we collaborated with UK Seed Paper to create limited-edition wildflower thank-you notes 🌷
- The plantable seed paper is a tool for positive environmental change, embedded with UK-native wildflowers, it supports pollinators and enhances local biodiversity. By choosing their seedpaper, we wanted to encourage our customers to help share our mindful message by planting it 🌱
- The first 100 orders in May received these plantable notes, allowing customers to grow their own wildflowers—a symbol of mindfulness and sustainability.

Connecting with Nature 🐝
Mindful May- Forest School Visit 🌱
During the month the Frobishers team visited Monkerton Community Primary School to see the progress of their Forest School 🤩 We helped to plant the Wacky Forest back in November, so we were delighted to hear the positive impact it has had for staff and students 🫶

Visit to Honeygar Farm 🍯
Prior to Mindful May our team visited Somerset Wildlife Trust's Honeygar Farm, a pioneering 'wilded' site we've supported through donations 🐌 Witnessing the positive impact of re-wilding efforts firsthand was a eye-opening experience, reinforcing our commitment to environmental mindfulness🌲
Supporting Mental Health Initiatives 🫶
Exeter College: Mindfulness Awareness Day 🧠
Exeter College hosted a wellbeing event at the start of the month, encouraging students to take care of their mental health, by promoting self care practices and the use of therapy 🫶
As part of our Mindful May initiative we donated drinks to help everyone stay relaxed and refreshed 😋

Mindful Movement: University of Exeter's Walk and Talk🚶♂️➡️
To help participants stay motivated and hydrated whilst raising awareness for Mental Health Week, we donated drinks to the university ✨
A huge congratulations to the staff, students, and alumni of the University of Exeter for their mindful movement 🎉 Fundraising for the Children and Young People’s Mental Health (ChYMe) project 🧠 They have currently raised over £1,600 of vital funds for research within Exeter’s faculty of Health and Life Sciences 🔬 Well done to all of these mindful champions 🤩

Team Mindfulness🧘♀️
Mindfulness starts from within, and our team embraced this wholeheartedly:
Becca's Family Time: Becca, our Operations Manager, spent quality time with her family, visiting her favourite places to unwind and reflect 🐚
Jo's " Togetherox" Challenge : Jo participated in a "Togetherox" event, combining fitness and mindfulness, gym enthusiasts met to sweat together and fundraise. Whether they jumped, lunged, cycle or ran they raised money for the charity Tommys. Congratulations Jo on your fantastic mindful choice this month 🎉

✨ Find out more about our B Corp Certification
What does B Corp Mean?
B Corp Certification means that a company has been verified as meeting high standards for social and environmental impact, that it has made a legal commitment to stakeholder governance, and that it is demonstrating accountability and transparency by disclosing their performance publicly. Simply put, it means we are legally bound to put people and planet up there with profit and to use business as a force for good.
How do you measure your B Corp impact?
The certification process measured our impact across five key areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers. Every part of our business was rigorously scrutinised by the B Impact Assessment (or BIA for short). The average score for businesses completing the assessment is 50.9, and to be B Corp certified, a business must achieve a score of 80 or above. We were pleased to achieve a score of 86.9.
