World Margarita Day is on the 22nd February, so what better day to celebrate this classic Mexican drink than with three fruity Margarita Cocktails.
What is a Margarita Cocktail?
A margarita is a cocktail consisting of Tequila, triple sec, and lime juice. Some margarita recipes include simple syrup as well and are often served with salt on the rim of the glass. Margaritas can either be served shaken with ice (on the rocks), without ice (straight up), or blended with ice (frozen margarita).
It is typically served in a stepped-diameter variant of a cocktail glass or champagne coupe called a margarita glass. The margarita is one of the world's most popular cocktails and the most popular Tequila based cocktail.
The classic margarita cocktail is delicious, but why settle for just the traditional lime when you can mix things up with some fabulous fruit juice variations?

Sunny Orange Margarita
For a full flavour sensation, packed with sunshine filled oranges - this sunny orange margarita will certainly have you reminiscing your last Summer holiday.
Ingredients:
- 45ml Tequila
- 30ml Orange Liqueur (such as Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
- 90ml Frobishers Orange Juice
- 15ml Lime Juice
- Salt for rimming the glass (optional)
Instructions:
- Rim a glass with salt (if desired).
- In a shaker, combine the tequila, orange liqueur, orange juice, and lime juice.
- Fill the shaker with ice, and shake well.
- Strain the mixture into the rimmed glass.
- Garnish with an orange or lime wheel and enjoy!
Mango Margarita
Let your tastebuds enjoy a tropical twist with this moorish mango margarita. Made using Alphonso mangos from Southern India, this vibrant and rich cocktail will have you coming back for more.
Ingredients:
- 60ml Tequila
- 30ml Lime Juice
- 30ml Triple Sec / Orange Liqueur
- 120ml Frobishers Mango Juice
- Salt for rimming the glass (optional)
Instructions:
- Rim the glass with salt (if using).
- In a blender, combine the tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and mango.
- Blend until the mango is fully pureed.
- Pour the mixture into the glass and enjoy!
Pineapple Margarita
It really is true that pineapple goes with anything (even pizza😉). So give this punchy pineapple margarita a go and we’ll let the flavour do the talking.
Ingredients:
- 60ml Tequila
- 30ml Lime Juice
- 60ml Frobishers Pineapple Juice
- 15ml Agave Nectar (or honey)
- Salt for rimming the glass (optional)
Instructions:
- Rim the glass with salt (if using).
- In a shaker, combine the tequila, lime juice, pineapple juice, and agave nectar.
- Shake well.
- Pour the mixture into the glass and enjoy!
