What Equipment Do I Need?

We recommend using an ice cream maker to make your mixture extra smooth. But don’t worry, if you don’t have one to hand, you can also mix the sorbet with a fork as it freezes. Alternatively, you can add it to a food processor once frozen to get that lovely smooth texture.

Frobishers Mango Sorbet

Indulge in the tropical bliss of homemade mango sorbet, infused with the vibrant essence of Frobishers Mango Juice.

INGREDIENTS

480ml Frobishers Mango Juice


240ml water


240g granulated sugar


1 tablespoon fresh lime juice


Mango pieces for garnish.

METHOD

1.

In a saucepan, combine water and granulated sugar

2.

Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar completely dissolves, forming a simple syrup

3.

Remove the syrup from heat and let it cool to room temperature

4.

In a mixing bowl, combine Frobishers Mango Juice, simple syrup, and fresh lime juice

5.

Stir well to combine

6.

Transfer the mixture into a large bowl and churn it using an ice cream maker, or equivalent, until it reaches a sorbet consistency

7.

Once churned, transfer the mango sorbet into a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm

8.

Serve scoops of mango sorbet in chilled bowls and garnish with diced mango pieces
