Everything is starting to feel a little more festive which means it’s time to start planning some exciting Christmas cocktails and mocktails and we’ve got the perfect recipe for you. We have partnered with Black Cow Vodka to create a warming winter recipe with their Christmas Spirit Vodka - and trust us when we say it’s delicious.
Black Cow pure milk vodka is the invention of dairy farmer Jason Barber who founded the brand alongside Paul Archard in 2012. Inspired by his love of vodka, he was curious about how to create a spirit using the whey that goes to waste in the cheese-making process. During his investigation, he discovered he could create beautiful vodka from milk.
Black Cow Christmas pudding vodka
Last year, the Black Cow Christmas Spirit sold out in less than 48 hours, and we can totally see why. This versatile drink is incredibly rich, warming and just screams Christmas. A must-have on any bar cart. There are so many ways you can use this spirit over the festive period - in a champagne cocktail, Christmas punch or even add to a mug of mulled wine. You can find more recipes on their website - but let's focus on the Christmas cocktail recipe we've created in collaboration with them!
The recipe for Christmas Spirit was created using an assortment of winter fruits and spices - currants, figs, raisins, orange zest, lemon zest, brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. These ingredients create delicious vodka with endless flavour combinations. Our favourite of course is with our iconic Apple Juice!
